the Pro Camp, you will concentrate on these areas:

We just don't train
you and hang you to dry. We guide your career. Remember, in APW,
we take an interest in you, the wrestler. Once you turn pro, we
continue to train you further while assisting you with marketing.
We will guide you in making a complete portfolio. Your portfolio
will consist of a complete resume, publicity photos and a video.
The video will consist of a music video hi-lite and a match
bell-to-bell. Promoters and promotions and bookers want to see a
match in its entirety. We don't market our graduates until we feel
they are ready. IMPORTANT NOTE:
Something very important to keep in mind. APW will get you to
the next level. We don't play favorites. There are many schools
out there being run by wrestlers. Now honestly, do you think they
are going to push you to get in the promotion they are wrestling
for?? Why would they?? You might get their job or their push. We
don't play the political game. We market you. If you happen to
take the roster spot of someone we already sent, then they
obviously need to work harder on their game and improve their
abilities. When deciding on which training school you attend, be
very careful to not fall into that trap. In this business the boys
stick with the boys until it comes time to get them somewhere.
They then have to keep a close eye on their job security. I hope
this makes sense. Sometimes, it pays to give up a percentage of
your pay to get more money and not get low-balled by major league
promoters. You also have no worry about APW not fighting to get
you a job because it isn't our job at risk. That doesn't mean, we
will market anyone. You have to earn it. When we put our
reputation on the line, we want to deliver!! |
